Classroom Happenings: If at any time you have expertise or stuff that would help our learning drop me a line, I would love to have you.

• We are working on patterns, so this means skip counting back and forwards. If you want to follow up at home you  can use MATH UNDER THE SEA  or Study Ladder websites.
• Science we are studying Sound and Hearing
•  In Social we are just studying geography so feel free to talk about the world and maps with your child

KATE AND PIPPIN, A DAY IN THE LIFE.

Welcome Parents,

It is a new and fresh year. I am sending home today a letter about the grade three class. I wait till now to do it as it takes a week to get settled as families and as students. Now that the dust has settled it is time to get each other.  

We spend lots of time the first bit creating a community in the classroom and getting comfortable as a group. So it may seem routines and work are slow to get started but laying a strong foundation for team work and cooperation is the best in the long run.

I hope to see all of you at the Meet the Teacher night. If you can not attend as life is busy and I understand,  I will send all papers home the next day with your child.  The essential piece of information I need is your email.
